A Chat with Pastor Floyd, author of “Hi, My Name is Jonah.”
On today's episode of Coffee with Keith, I have Pastor Floyd Hughes. Pastor Floyd was born and raised in New York City. He and his wife Christina live in Jefferson Hills, a suburb of Pittsburgh, where Floyd serves as pastor of CrossRoads Community Church of Jefferson Hills (www.crossroadsofjeffersonhills.com). Floyd is also the author of the book, Act Like An E-Christian, a devotional based on the book of Acts. He served 12 years in the United States Army, worked in the telecom industry, and consulted with the government. He previously served as a teaching pastor at CrossCurrent Church in Ashburn VA and assisted with the planting of Steel City Church in the Oakland area of Pittsburgh. He is a self-proclaimed geek, a self-proclaimed foodie, a social media over user (@BigPhatPastor across all platforms except TikTok where he is @BigPhatPastor1 and yes, there is a story to the name), an avid comic book reader, and a movie fan. One of Floyd’s favorite things to do is creatively share the truths of God’s Word with people in his circle of influence.
In this episode we discuss the current climate of our societal culture, what we can do about it, and how his newest book addresses the subject. I always love talking Theology with others and of course, we do some of that in this episode. Be sure to give it a listen as Pastor Floyd Hughes and I chat on Coffee with Keith.
